Deposit and vehicle description policy

Reservation and deposit terms should be confirmed before payment. Where a deposit is agreed, the vehicle may be removed from sale and marked as reserved while the purchase is completed.

Vehicles may be held for an agreed period from the date the deposit is received. If the remaining balance is not paid and the vehicle is not collected within the agreed time frame, Peel Common Showroom may relist the vehicle for sale. Deposit handling depends on the agreed reservation terms and your statutory rights.

Vehicle descriptions are provided as accurately and honestly as possible using information available at the time of listing. Customers are encouraged to view the vehicle in person or request a video walkaround before placing a deposit.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with your purchase or the service received, contact 01329 722030 or info@jmccarsalesltd.co.uk with your details, vehicle information and a description of the issue.

Complaints are normally acknowledged within 2 working days and the team will work to resolve complaints as quickly as possible. If you are not happy with the outcome, you may be able to use an Alternative Dispute Resolution service or contact Trading Standards.

Returns

If a vehicle develops a significant mechanical or electrical fault after purchase, contact the showroom promptly so the issue can be reviewed. Any remedy will depend on the vehicle, the fault, the circumstances and your statutory rights.

The vehicle should be kept in a similar condition as sold, with no new damage, modifications or excessive mileage. Returns due to change of mind are not normally accepted unless agreed in writing.

Vehicle information accuracy

Peel Common Showroom aims to provide accurate and detailed descriptions, including condition, mileage, features and specification. Used vehicles may have wear and tear, minor cosmetic imperfections or changes after the description was written.

Customers are advised to view the vehicle, request further details, take a test drive where possible and seek independent advice if required before proceeding with a purchase.

Pricing and availability

Vehicle prices and availability may change. Please call ahead before travelling to confirm that a specific vehicle is still available and that the displayed details are current.

Finance subject to status

Finance applications are subject to credit approval and affordability assessments by the finance provider. Peel Common Showroom is a credit broker, not a lender, and does not make lending decisions.

Finance is subject to status, affordability and lender approval. APR, fees, repayment term, total amount payable and early settlement terms will be shown in the finance provider's agreement before you decide whether to proceed.

Payment terms

The balance of the vehicle price must be paid either by finance agreement or full payment before the vehicle is released. Accepted payment methods should be confirmed with the showroom before collection.

Part exchange valuations

Part exchange valuations are based on the information supplied and may change after inspection, mileage checks, history checks or condition review.

Reservations and warranty terms

Reservation terms should be confirmed before placing a deposit. Warranty availability, cover, exclusions, mileage limits and claim limits vary and should be confirmed for the specific vehicle before purchase.

Limitation of liability

Nothing on this website should be treated as a substitute for inspecting a vehicle or confirming important details directly with the showroom before purchase.
